Sandton-based Paragon has won the prestigious titles of Architecture Firm of the Year and Best Overall Professional Services Firm of the Year, at the 2018 South African Professional Services Awards (SAPSAs) held in early February.
The awards recognise excellence across four main categories, namely the built environment, commerce, law and management. This is the second consecutive year that Paragon has walked away with the top architecture accolades.
‘The SAPSAs are not so much architectural design awards … but business design and business creation awards,’ says Paragon founding director Henning Rasmuss, who also took home the Architecture Professional of the Year award.
The 2018 SAPSA awards add to Paragon’s already extensive list of accolades for flagship developments, including the Norton Rose Fulbright and Bowmans offices in Alice Lane and Alice Lane 3 respectively, as well as Sasol Place in Sandton, which has a 5-star Green Star rating from the Green Building Council of South Africa.
