Drainage systems in new builds – especially high-rise – present the challenge of ensuring the utmost efficiency without compromising on space. Myriad metres of pipes pose a problem, prompting sanitaryware specialist Geberit to come up with an innovative solution that comprises smaller pipes while eliminating the need for ventilation ducts.

Enhanced waste water hydraulics are key to Geberit’s SuperTube technology, which has seen the introduction of two flow-optimised bends that, together with the Sovent fitting, ensures a constant column of air that increases discharge capacity.

‘Space saving can be made and the complexity reduced,’ says Mathias Riggenbach, Geberit senior product manager. ‘It’s no longer necessary to plan or install parallel ventilation pipes.’
